This is a talking point I hear often. That the reason why the vaccinated want those who haven't got the shot to get it is because they fear the potential side effects and well, misery loves company.

I find this hard to believe. It seems much more simple. They truly believe the unvaccinated are the reason as to why we cannot "go back to normal" (Despite being able to still transmit the virus) and that's all. They've drank the Kool Aid. It's not because they fear it to be dangerous.

I have had people tell me that there are zero side effects of the vaccine. None. Said in complete confidence. This type of person is not self aware enough to actually gauge the pro's and con's of a rushed vaccination.
