Sorry for the long read, but I think most of the public is in my boat. When I say I don’t buy a single conspiracy theory, I really do mean it. I’m not looking to argue people on the popular ones by saying that, but when it comes down to it, I always go back to the fact that people cannot keep their mouth shut. But the fact that it’s 2021 and the White House has yet again blocked information from coming out about how one of the most popular presidents in history was assassinated, it’s something I cannot come to grips with. I come from Massachusetts, so Kennedy has always been looked at some kind of god-like figure since I was a kid, and everything I’ve read about him as a politician tells me that he would have sent us down a much better path of history than what came after his death. My big question is, and this is how I deal with every conspiracy: “qui bono”—who benefits? Who benefits from blocking information about the whole story regarding Kennedy‘s assassination? I cannot possibly think of what the White House has to gain here. We have two parties that cannot agree on literally any single subject other than war and bailing out banks. However, every White House—no matter what the politics are or who’s in positions of power—continue to hide the whole story about what has happened. Is there somebody out there who can answer for me why the general public should not be completely disgusted and EXTREMELY CONCERNED for our nation by this? We live in a world where if a cop kills a person unjustly, we know everything about that cops life within a few hours. Yet we can’t get all the facts on an assassination of a President after this many years? At the very best, it shows our government couldn’t protect us from a Russian-trained assassin. At worst, it shows that our government acquiesces to an unelected element capable of taking out a democratically elected leader.
