In the Art of War, an ancient Chinese text about warfare which is still studied in most elite military institutions around the world, Master Sun, the main brain behind the book, claims that the best way to overtake an enemy is without them knowing that they've been overtaken.

SS: this really opens the door wide. It should obviously be considered that the human population, or certain country's populations, have been defeated through mind control or other means of which we are unaware.

(North Korea seems like an obvious example, although I imagine most of those citizens are at least partially aware that they are living under mind control.)

Some people say it's advertising. Others say social media. Others might say electronics.

I'm curious what you think is a force that was smart enough to defeat humankind without them realizing it.
