If they are actually hiring 87,000 armed IRS agents, then that’s more alarming than it seems. With there being 3006 U.S. counties, that could be roughly 28 additional armed agents dedicated to taxes? That’s in every county. I don’t know about everywhere else but counties aren’t very big here. That’s larger than some sheriff departments. Could this be to crack down more on skipping out on taxes through payment apps etc when we move to a cashless society?
