Michael D. Griffin is a friend of Elon and trusted Elon with many of his ideas and contacts.

Griffin was Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering

The goal of USD (R&E) is to extend the capabilities of current war fighting systems, develop breakthrough capabilities, hedge against an uncertain future through a set of scientific and engineering options, and counter strategic surprise.

In 2002, Griffin was President and COO of In-Q-Tel, a private enterprise funded by the CIA to identify and invest in companies developing cutting-edge technologies that serve national security interests.

During this time, he met entrepreneur Elon Musk and accompanied him on a trip to Russia where they attempted to purchase ICBMs. The unsuccessful trip is credited as directly leading to the formation of SpaceX.

Griffin gave Elon the ideas, initial team, govt connections, contracts, etc..

Q: Why do you think he specifically chose to work with Elon?

A: One of the goals of USD (R&E) is : "provides advice and assistance in developing policies for rapid technology transition."

The operation is covering a mandate to get surveillance systems as broadly sown as possible.Elon is the front man of the operation to normalize and grow the uptake of intrusive surveillance tech into all aspects of our lives. Simple as that.

They are using Elon to play us.Elon's "fear" of AGI and his thoughts of simulation theory are just him laughing because he suspects, or knows, what's in store for us.
