This is a fact conveniently memory holed but McDonald's used to fry their burgers and french fries in a substance known as beef tallow. To those in the know ghee and tallow are two of the best substances to fry your food in. There's been a lot of coverage on the seed oil psyop so I won't rehash that but basically most fast food places switched from a healthy cooking method to frying everything in these horrible seed oils like canola corn sauflower palm sunflower etc they probably did it to cut costs but McDonald's is basically chemical garbage these days compared to the late 90s and early 2000s. The cooking method of your food is one of the most important factors people tend to not realize of how nutritious and healthy it is. Seed oils create these unhealthy fatty acids and also these bad glycogen end products. If you ate McDonald's during the golden era it was real food now it's like eating someone's science experiment with 100s of preservatives and chemicals it's crazy their legally allowed to call it food. They used to get real patties with real buns and soak it in beef tallow which also gave it a very beefy distinct flavor. The patties they have now is toxic sludge the so called "pink slime" the same thing the nuggets are made out of it's just a bunch of mashed chicken meat and chemicals. It's also interesting that during the beef tallow era heart attacks were practically non existent you almost never seen them iirc back in the 80s heart attacks weren't even the number one cause of death it's interesting how after seed oils were introduced into the food cooking supply chain heart attack rates skyrocket.
