I think Lyme disease was weaponized on plum Island in NY and was either released on purpose or by negligence. Operation paper clip played a part in this.

I ponder whether it was released to deter people from going in the woods both recreationally and to deter people from living in remote areas and being self sufficient.

I also wonder if the new zombie deer prion disease was intentionally released to make hunting and self reliance more difficult. And to scare people into not trusting to eat wild game...
