So the entire Apollo program was pulled off in under a decade. The lunar suits used on Apollo all worked well with no failures and were developed for under 1 million in today's dollars.
The Artemis suits are still not ready after 15 years and will cost 1 Billion to develop.
Why?
The old ones were not safe?
We lost the technical knowhow? All the good seamstresses at Playtex are now too old to sew by hand?
