I can't read a damn post on this sub without someone mentioning lefties or righties: somehow some people here actually believe that the greedy, ruthless, manipulative, and callous men and women that make up the government actually care about partisan politics. Here's a newsflash...they don't care! They aren't principled, they just care about getting re-elected and getting more power and they're using partisan politics to gain support. Using tribal mentality to gain support among the masses is the most effective manipulation tactic and I see too many people here falling for it. Stop arguing for your "tribe" and start debating what's actually going preserve this society and whatever freedom and privacy we have left.
