I've been using reddit for longer than a lot of it's current users have been alive and I am highly disappointed in what has happened here. This used to be the place where you went to discuss government corruption and cover-ups and now the site as a whole fights to protect the very corruption it used to warn the rest of the world about. This was the site that you came to dig into conspiracy theories, most of which ended up being 100% true. When SOPA was introduced and threatened our freedom of speech this site stood up and assisted in getting it shut down, and now all this place does is do the bidding of corrupt government world wide. We spent years standing up to online oppression and battling relentless arrest of journalist exposing corruption and now all this place does is fight to silence anyone indifferent to government policies.

I don't know how this place changed so drastically in such a small amount of time, but I am ashamed of everyone who has participated in it. You allowed corrupt politicians to pull on your emotional strings so that you would fight for your own enslavement. They tricked you into thinking that things that happened before you were even born are current threats to society while not realizing that you yourselves are the threats to society. Furthermore they tricked you into believing that people actually care about your feelings and that internet points equal being an important person. You've deemed yourselves the moral authority over people who's shoes you don't wear. You've made this world a worse place and escalated racial tensions when before there was none because you think you are making a positive difference with your selfish behavior. You've decided that if you don't like something then nobody else is allowed to like it either and that the government is good as long as its a democrat.

You are fools and you destroy everything you touch while at no point showing any indication that your efforts have had any improvement on society. You are fine with half of the population being miserable as long as you are satisfied and it's the most selfish shit I've ever seen. You decided that you are smarter than the people that laid the foundation of your home and spit in all of their faces. You made everything worse while you pat yourselves on the back and tell yourself 'good job'. Don't take these words the wrong way, I have accepted what it is and live my life happily regardless. I'm just letting you know that you're doing it all wrong and you made things way worse in a way that I'm not entirely sure is even repairable. So do what you will with my opinion and try to enjoy something in your life today after you are done cursing my existence and my audacity to speak ill of such wonderful and righteous folks as yourselves.
