Recently I saw a Kanye West interview where he was talking about how a lot of famous people have had someone close to them die around the same time that they begin to blow up, so naturally this got me thinking of that video of the word “Satan” being played for a split second on the screen at one of the weeknd’s shows. So this made me wonder if the weeknd truly sold his soul to the devil or some other demonic deity. I did some digging and found out that the weeknd wasn’t raised by his parents as they passed away shortly after he was born, he was raised by his Grandmother. I then saw that during the year 2012 he signed with Republic Records and went on to release a number of hits that year and the following year of 2013. Upon further discovery, around that same time was when his grandmother passed away. This has led me to believe that he may have sold his soul and sacrificed his grandmother too.

This is obviously just a loosely constructed and poorly worded theory but let me know what you think.
