So don't get me wrong. There are a few jobs that have a stable career path. However, most jobs you are very expendable no matter how good you are at the job and the CEO would sell out all their employees if it meant more profit. I think when covid hit and millions were laid off it woke people up and they realized that a career at most places is a myth
